Easy to locate just opposite the Dolphins roundabout on the Kos Town Harbour. This train will take you on a leisurely journey around the Lambi side of town. Children under 10 go FREE!
This town tour gives you a glimpse of places you might wish to go, for example Averof Street, which is home to so many wonderful restaurants, cafes, and bars on the beach and on the street. Many also hold BBQ nights, Bingo and Quizzes too. Kos Town beaches are clean, safe and usually a lot of fun, many have activities such as volleyball, and watersports.
As you head up the main street of Lambi you will notice that Kos Town has so much to offer, and it’s not always just in the centre and harbour area, you will see for yourself. The streets that you pass have fine restaurants that explore all kinds of Greek and International cuisine with excellent friendly service too.
You head out past hotel complexes which have magnifcent lush gardens, full of beautiful flowers and palm trees. All the time being able to relax and enjoy the scenery and countryside, with the lovely cool breeze.
You see the old factories, (what remains of them), and nightclubs both new and old. Find the places where you can dance the night away, or if you are here with a young family, the spots where the children can slide and bounce the evening away!
Take a look at Kanari Street which is famous for the many kind of shops ranging from clothes and shoes, to tourist bits and bobs, cute bars and bakeries and ice-cream stops.
It’s a good chance to see the other side of the town, especially if you have weary legs, or are far to hot, a perfect way to cool down, relax and see for yourself the beauty of Kos.
The funky Greek music will put a smile on your face, and get you into the holiday mood!
