The Archaeological Museum of Kos, can be found in the Main Square of the Town (Eleftherias-Freedom Square), look for the tall Turkish Mosque and the inside Market and you will see the steps to the Museum opposite.

The Museum is well worth a visit whilst you are in Kos.  It features and exhibits many statues and artwork,as well as mosaics from The Roman times, Hellenistic Periods and general Ancient Classical Greek Civilization.

Probably the most popular and famous of these statues are the ones of -The Head of Alexandra The Great and the Demeter.
